Because alluvial deposits often contain high levels of sticky clay and organic debris, a standard vibrating screen is prone to "blinding." The trommel solves this by using a high-energy rotating action that tumbles the material, allowing water to penetrate and wash every pebble. This process ensures that gold particles are thoroughly liberated from the waste rock and directed into the recovery circuit, maximizing the yield of even the smallest "flour gold."

3.Working Principle Gold Separation Equipment

• Rotary Screening: As the slurry moves into the perforated screen section, centrifugal force and gravity push the gold-bearing fines through the apertures (typically 6mm to 20mm).
